Day Two Begins with Stops at Singapore's Gardens by the Bay & the Rolls Royce Factory

 

Day two began with William & Kate touring the air-conditioned Cloud Forest at Singapore's Gardens by the Bay, which contains plant life from mountainous regions.

 

 

 

 

Gardens by the Bay is one of the largest projects of its kind in the world and features 18 eye-catching supertrees which are, in fact, vertical gardens displaying flowing climbers and ferns.

Before they left, the royal couple planted a pachira glabra variegate to mark their visit.

The Duchess returned to one of her favorite designers for today's outfit, choosing to wear a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen white broderie anglaise two-piece suit dress (£1,300).

This latest McQueen number features a fitted top with cuffed short sleeves, a deep V neck and cinched belt to create that super-feminine fit-and-flare silhouette. It comes in a summery broderie anglaise fabric covered in exquisite embroidery.

On the accessories front, the Duchess gave her Stuart Weitzman for Russell and Bromley Corkswoon wedges another outing (you'll recognise them from her many Olympics and Paralympics appearances) and carried her matching Stuart Weitzman navy suede Muse clutch. She also wore a pair of diamond sapphire cluster earrings.

 

 

Finishing off her look she had her usual day makeup of peachy blush, lined eyes and nude lips with her trademark Chelsea blow-dry hairstyle.

Next, the royal couple headed to the Rolls-Royce jet engine factory. They walked through the vast space of the factory at Rolls-Royce's Seletar campus, which was opened in February and has begun building Trent 900 engines for the Airbus A380 double-decker plane.
