William & Kate Arrive in Calgary

William and Kate have officially arrived in Calgary for the final stint of the 2011 Canadian Royal tour. They landed in a Canadian Forcesd Griffon helicopter from their overnight retreat, a visit to Lake Louise.

The newlyweds were presented with white hats by Mayor Naheed Nenshi -- a traditional welcome to Calgary and paricularly timely seeing as the Royals will help launch Friday's Stampede parade -- though neither the prince or his wife donned the cowboy hats.

The couple were then quickly whisked away to the Ward of the 21st Century (W21C) at the University of Calgary to see innovative health care research being done here.

Kate finally brightened up her wardrobe sporting a buttery yellow primrose silk crepe dress from Jenny Packham.

The brightly-hued short-sleeved, collared dress is a flirty, feminine design, adorned with buttons and soft pleating. The dress had a semi circular skirt and blouson top.

Kate accessorized with nude heels (LK Bennett -- Sledge2 Court in taupe leather £175), Kiki McDonough 18ct gold and citrine drop earrings and her woven straw  LK Bennett -- Natalie clutch (£140).
