The Queen & Kate Get a Private Wedding Dress Viewing

Ahead of the public showing of Kate's wedding dress at Buckingham Palace, the Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed a private viewing.

The stunning dress is to take pride of place at Buckingham Palace’s annual summer exhibition this year, ensuring we can bask in the afterglow of Kate and William’s wedding day just that little bit longer.

Kate wore a pale pink silk 3/4 length sleeve Joseph dress with a crossover bodice (Fall 2011 collection and available in stores now). She wore her Jimmy Choo 'lovely' heels in Powder Pink and did not carry a purse. Her shiny hair hung loose around her shoulders.

She kept her jewelry simple and wore a silver pendant necklace, her silver Tiffany & Co Elsa Peretti® Diamonds by the Yard® bracelet and silver earrings.

  1. I'm not sure if you ID'ed her diamond pendant from Canada Day and from several other occasions, but it is by Asprey London. It's not available, but a firm that I'm familiar with has an auction on EBay for the gold version of the necklace. Asprey offers a bespoke service, so if any of your readers are interested in this piece, they will probably be happy to recreate it for them.

  3. No problem. I own the earrings that match the necklace. Once I saw a closer picture of the side of the necklace, I knew it was by Asprey. Their pieces are adorned w/the word "Bond" which signifies their location. I love your blog!
