Kate Looks Striking in Red as She Attends The Queen's Pre-Christmas Lunch

Mirror/PA

The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh traditionally host an annual pre-Christmas lunch for their family, before leaving for Sandringham where they spend the holidays. This allows them to catch up with more distant relations, who are not invited to join them at their country estate on December 25th.

William and Kate arrived at Buckingham Palace without Prince George, however on their way out, it was noted that the prince was seated alongside nanny Maria Theresa Borrallo in the back of his parents' car.

The Duchess' earrings are currently unidentified (UFO) but thanks to 'My Small Obsessions' on FB, we know that she has worn them in the past (as far back as 2007). Her sister, Pippa Middleton, also has a pair.

Wills & Kate Attend the Wedding of Emily McCorquodale & James Hutt

On Saturday Emily McCorquodale celebrated her marriage to James Hutt. Emily grew up alongside William & Harry (she is the daughter of Princess Diana's sister - Lady Sarah), spending childhood holidays playing in the sand with her cousins.

The wedding was attended by William, Kate & Harry and took place in a pretty church in the Lincolnshire hamlet of Stoke Rochford.

Once again, Kate decided to shop her closet and wore some familiar pieces.

The Duchess wore the Jenny Packham dress from the polo match last summer. It's a 'De Gournay' silver and marble grey hand-painted chinoiserie silk frock from Packham's Spring 2011 collection.

On top of the, Kate wore her Katherine Hooker dove-gray, cowl jewel cuffed Katherine Hooker 'Buxton' coat from Ms. Hooker's Summer 2011 Collection. Kate wore this coat to the Garter Day Celebrations back in June 2011.

The Duchess of Cambridge made a small fashion faux pas. Her dress was longer than her coat.

She completed the muted look with elegant Whiteley hat that she wore to the Epsom Derby last year.

Kate wore her hair half up in a braid around the crown of her head.

The Duchess accessorized with her Hobbs Somerton Clutch, her nude L.K.Bennett heels, her Heavenly Necklace Earrings, and, of course, her gorgeous sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
