Kate braved the cold weather and traveled to Newby Bridge in Cumbria to train with adult Scout volunteers. A group of Cub Scouts from Cumbria and Manchester were taking part in a pack holiday event at the 250-acre activity center close to Lake Windermere.

After a tour of the training camp, she and the other volunteers taught Scouts how to light a fire and then helped make bread twists using the open fire.

Thanks to follower Saffy Smith on WKW, Kate's jacket has been ID'ed! It is the 'Belford' by Barbour (£180) and no longer available. Kate was first seen wearing it back in 2009. Barbour has suggested the 'Pacific' as an alternative.
