Kate Recycles Armani Coat on Day Two of Scotland Visit

William and Kate joined Prince Charles to open the Tamar Manoukin Outdoor Centre at Dumfries House in Ayrshire. They were given a warm welcome by hundreds of locals, cadets, brownies, guides and scouts.

Charles showed his son and daughter-in-law around Dumfries House and grounds, which is now open to the public for the first time in 250 years. This was an effort to publicize the new outdoor center. After that, the royal trio watched children tackle an obstacle course.

The 18th century mansion was bought, along with its contents and adjoining land, by a consortium led by the Prince of Wales in June 2007.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge then moved on to Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria to learn about the new Astute Class of nuclear powered submarines being built for the Royal Navy by BAE Systems.

They saw the production facilities at the offices of the Vanguard replacement program before meeting the crew of Artful, currently based in Barrow.

Kate recycled her red angora Armani coat. She wore the piece to William's passing out ceremony in 2006. It looks like she strategically had the buttons moved to accommodate her growing belly.

The Duchess teamed her outfit with her trademark black tights and black suede mid-calf Hi and Dry by Aquatalia for Russell & Bromley boots (£395).
