The Royals Kick Off The Tour de France

More than one million cycling fans lined the streets of Yorkshire this morning as Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry officially launched the first leg of this year's Tour de France.

Cyclists made their way to 18th century Harewood House for the ceremonial start, where they were greeted by William, Kate and Harry, and with a rendition of the French and British national anthems performed by the Band of the Corps of the Royal Engineers.
