William & Kate Travel to Nottingham

Today, 35,000 people turned out in Nottingham to greet the Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The visit was part of the continuing diamond jubilee tour.

People had queued since 5am to catch a glimpse of the Royal Party.

First stop was Nottingham’s historic Old Market Square.

After a brief balcony appearance at Council House, the Duchess was presented with a posy by eight-year-old Isabelle Weall from Derby, who lost both arms and legs to meningitis in 2010.

The trio then moved on to Vernon Park where The Duke gave a speech.

The Duchess of Cambridge chose to recycle her powder blue tweed M Missoni coat dress (the one we last saw a few months ago when she went for tea at Fortnum and Mason).

This piece from M Missoni's Autumn/Winter 2010 collection and is no longer available HOWEVER Grazia Magazine has announced that the two-year-old coat will be re-issued and in stores this July. It will retails at a steep £670. The stores that will stock this coat dress include the M Missoni flagship store in London, Westfield White City and Shepard's Bush, Harrods and Harvey Nichols.

Kate originally bought the piece on sale from the outlet at Bicester Village.

Beneath the M. Missoni coat dress, Kate wore her blue Zara dress which we've seen on many occassions.

The Duchess accessorized with a navy Rachel Trevor Morgan cocktail hat that she wore at armed forces day, her navy L.K. Bennett 'Art' Court Shoes ($150 and no longer available) and a new navy clutch by Jaeger.

The clutch is called the 'Kate' bag (Product Code:790001C) and is no longer available in navy. The Jaeger web site still has green in stock. The original price of the clutch was £150 and was reduced to £75.00.

Completing her look, the Duchess wore her sapphire and diamond earrings that we believe we once Diana's as well as her sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

Kate & William Attend the Carter - Gillingham Wedding

On Saturday, William and Kate were seen at the wedding of Hannah Gillingham and Robert Carter. It was held at St. Andrew's Church in Wingfield, England.

Hannah was a childhood pal and attended Marlborough College with Kate. They played on several of the same sports teams.

Kate recycled her blue lace Erdem dress that she wore during her and William's tour of Canada last Summer.

She chamged things up by accessorizing with a black and gold studded Alexander McQueen belt, a blue fascinator, blue Prada suede heels and her 'Marano' clutch by UK designer Anya Hindmarch.

Kate wore a navy, box-cut, cropped jacket over her Erdem dress. The general consensus right now (thanks to WKW) is that it's a bespoke Erdem jacket based on the Erdem 'Tegan' tweed jacket ($1,266). I will be emailing Erdem for confirmation.

Kate & Wills Celebrate Armed Forces Day

This morning, the Royal couple celebrated Armed Forces Day with soldiers who had recently returned from fighting in Afghanistan. The ceremony was held at Windsor Castle.

Kate presented Elizabeth Crosses to families of three members of the regiment who were killed during the six month operational tour.

The duchess wore a chic figure-hugging, dark navy, wool crepe double-breasted coat by Alexander McQueen with gold buttons that finished just above the knee. The epaulets and double row of buttons gave it a distinctly military feel. The topper is part of the designer's pre-fall 2011 collection (said to retail for about $1,840). I was not able to find an exact picture of the coat in McQueen's new collection but there are some similiar styles below.

Kate chose a small matching Rachel Trevor-Morgan hat which had the feel of a military beret in size and slant, but the bow embellishment gave it a glamorous look.

A gold Irish shamrock brooch was pinned to her lapel. This is the emblem of the Irish Guards and one of the flowers included in the lace detail of her wedding dress. The brooch was loaned to her by the regiment and has previously been worn by Princess Anne and the Queen Mother.

Kate accessorised her outfit with simple blue shoes (reportedly Prada but not yet confirmed), a blue Anya Hindnarch 'Marano' clutch (£995.00), gold link bracelet with single engraved charm (resembles her official seal), and Kiki McDonough citrine drop earrings.
