Kate Presents Gold Medal to Men's Discus Champion

 

Today, Kate presented the gold medal to the men's discus champion Aled Davies. She also congratulated and awarded medals to bronze medallist Lezheng Wang of China and silver medallist Mehrdad Karam Zadeh of Iran.

 

  

The Duchess shopped her closet and pulled some of her favorite pieces to make up her medal ceremony ensemble. She wore her navy Emilio Pucci 'Punto Milano' double breasted jacket (£1,145) with a waist-defining fit and gold buttons, a navy pencil skirt and her Stuart Weitzman 'Corkswoon' wedges. Completing her outfit, she tucked her official Team GB Paralympics scarf into her jacket.

 

 

Kate kept her jewelry simple and wore her Annoushka Baroque Pearl Earring Drops as well as her sapphire and emerald engagement ring.

Earlier in the day, the Duchess watched as Britain's mixed coxed fours crew - David Smith, James Roe, Naomi Riches, Pam Relph and cox Lily van den Broecke - pulled away from their German rivals and crossed the finish line first at Eton Dorney.

 

 

 

 

William & Kate Attend the Princes’ Charities Forum

After four engagements in the last 48 hours, William & Kate attended yet another. They attended a meeting of the Princes’ Charities Forum at the Royal Society. The Forum is a twice-yearly gathering of all the couples’ charities – as well as those of Prince Harry - to share ideas and offer mutual support.

Kate looked immaculate in a white Ted Baker 'STARDY' Bib detail blouse (thanks to WKW for the ID). The pretty white shirt had vintage-style sleeves and delicate detailing down the front.

Kate Takes Part in a Training Session at the Olympic Hockey Arena

This morning, the Duchess of Cambridge, who is an ambassador for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics toured Riverside Arena in Olympic Park (east London). She met with members of the men's and women's GB Hockey teams as well as various dignitaries during her 90-minute visit.

Kate was captain of the first XI hockey team when she attended Marlborough College and was eager to take part in a training sesson.

The Duchess took three shots at goal from the left hand side of the goal mouth and missed. She was then moved to the centre and scored first time, prompting loud applause.

She arrived at the venue in skin tight tangerine J Brand 811 Mid-Rise Skinny Leg ($176) three quarter length jeans, LK Bennett navy 'Art' Heels (originally £155 went on sale for £95) and a blue Emilio Pucci 'Punto Milano' blazer (£1,145) with an official Team GB supporters' scarf (large £10, small £5).
