Kate Spotted Shopping at the Wilkinson Family Value Store

Kate was spotted doing a little shopping at the Wilkinson Family Value Store in Holyhead, North Wales.

She wore her slim-fitting purple cable cashmere sweater by Ralph Lauren ($398), her Aquascutum London checkered scarf, and her 'Pirouette' flats by London Sole. I can't get a good look at her skinny dark wash jeans to ID them.

The Duchess chose to simply wear her gold wedding band and her hair was pulled back into a loose bun.

Update 8/15/2011

Our amazing follower 'TH' pointed out that Kate's jeans are in fact black. They are also the ones she wore back in September 2009 on a shopping trip with sister, Pippa.

William surprises Kate with a romantic dinner and an evening alone.

Yesterday the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge finally managed to snatch some time for just the two of them.

Romantic Prince William whisked Kate off for a surprise romantic dinner and evening alone, on a remote Canadian island yesterday evening.

Leaving their entourage, security and assistants at the shore, the smiling pair paddled across the pretty lake to the uninhabited Eagle Island for a simple meal and an evening alone.

It’s thought chefs had prepared a local meal of cranberries, bannock bread, caribou and white fish in advance, and left it on the island for the royal couple to enjoy.

Update 7/7/11

Kate's scarf has been ID'd! It is the Club Check Scarf by Aquascutum London on sale for £50 (originally £75) . www.aquascutum.co.uk
