William & Kate Welcome Poppy Appeal Supporters, Then Head Out to High Street

Daily Mail/Alison Baskerville/LNP

This morning, William and Kate met staff and volunteers taking part in the Royal British Legion appeal at Kensington Palace to mark London Poppy Day. The supporters and members of the armed forces stopped in at the palace as part of a tour across the capital on a 1960s Routemaster Bus.

Kate has worn this coat on previous occasions (2011 to visit UNICEF's Emergency Supply Centre and then again in 2012 to support Wales in a rugby match). It is from LK Bennett's autumn winter 2011 collection and features a high collar, epaulets, and a waist-clinching belt

Her hair was left long and loose with a part in the middle, rather than the side. On the top of Kate's head, silver roots were clearly visible and the rest of her hair had a hint of blonde highlights coming through the chestnut.

She accessorized her outfit with a long gold charm necklace (looks like a new necklace - possibly a push present - I will update if I get further info) and her Kiki McDonough citrine drop earrings. Kate swept her long brunette hair into a ponytail.
